Most fastener bagging in this market is weigh-counted: a scale infers quantity from mass, and the tolerance you actually ship is whatever the piece-weight variance allows. That is fine for a bin of loose deck screws. It is not fine for an assembly kit where a missing M6 bolt stops a line. Our fiber-optic counting system counts each piece as it drops through the channel, holding 99.5% count accuracy as the standard specification.

On top of the count, 100% of bags cross an inline checkweigher — not a sample, not an AQL plan, every bag. A bag outside the expected mass window is rejected before it reaches the carton. Where an application genuinely cannot tolerate a short count, a 100% verified count is available as a paid option priced on top of the tier rate.

A Markem-Imaje SmartDate X40 thermal transfer overprinter codes each bag in line. Lot codes, date codes, your part number, and a barcode — whatever your receiving system or your customer's quality group needs printed on the film. When a field failure comes back eighteen months later, the bag in the box names the run.

Practical envelope: up to six discrete fastener types per bag from six independent feeder channels, up to roughly 20 pieces per channel, bags from 50 to 300 mm long and 50 to 200 mm wide, and film in PE, PP-CPP, PA-PE, or PET-PE up to a 420 mm web. Parts over about 150 mm, open springs, and long wire forms are outside what a vibratory bowl will feed reliably, so we turn those away rather than run them badly.

The line sustains 600 to 720 bags per hour depending on bag size and component count — about 4,500 bags a shift, roughly 22,000 a week on a single shift. Pricing runs on annual volume: $0.52 per bag from 5,000 to 25,000, $0.42 to 100,000, $0.35 to 300,000, and $0.30 above 300,000, with film, sealing, checkweighing, coding, and bulk carton in the number. The minimum run is 5,000 bags; anything smaller is quoted hourly.
