The plant sits at 1151 Badger Rd in Kaukauna, on the eastern edge of the Fox Valley between Appleton and Kaukauna's industrial corridor. Appleton and Oshkosh are inside thirty minutes; Green Bay is under forty; Milwaukee is a two hour lane and Chicago about three and a half. For a manufacturer in that footprint, contract packaging that close means components leave your dock in the morning and finished kits come back on a short LTL run rather than crossing the country twice.

That geography is not incidental. The Fox Valley is one of the densest concentrations of cabinet, millwork, furniture, and paper-converting manufacturing in the United States, and most of those plants have the same problem: a couple of assemblers counting hardware into bags by hand because the volume never justified a counting line of their own.

Multi-component counting and bagging is the core: up to six discrete parts per bag from six independent vibratory feeder channels, up to about 20 pieces per channel, at 600 to 720 bags per hour. Every bag is 100% checkweighed inline and thermal-transfer coded with your lot, date, part number, and barcode. Finished bags pack out into bulk cartons labeled to your receiving spec, ready to go straight to a line-side station.

Typical work: cabinet and RTA hardware kits, furniture assembly kits, fastener kitting and fastener bagging for OEM assembly, RV and marine hardware packs, and point-of-sale hardware sets. Anything that feeds from a vibratory bowl is a candidate — screws, bolts, nuts, washers, cam locks, dowels, shelf pins, brackets, clips, bushings, o-rings. Tangling parts, parts over ~150 mm, oriented placement, liquids and powders are out, and the line is not certified for medical, food contact, or pharmaceutical packaging.

Pricing is per bag on annual volume — $0.52 from 5,000 to 25,000, $0.42 to 100,000, $0.35 to 300,000, $0.30 above — fully loaded with film, sealing, checkweighing, lot coding, and carton pack-out. Minimum run is 5,000 bags; below that we quote hourly. Hardware can be customer-supplied or sourced by MGD at cost plus.
